Bring the umbrella and the rain jacket for Easter Sunday plans and get ready for a blast of cold air tomorrow evening.
This afternoon is damp with showers and areas of dense fog. A breeze from the northwest will dry out by 4 p.m. this afternoon but it will likely remain cloudy until this evening.
High temperatures today will reach near 60-degrees before sunset tonight. Temperatures drop below 50-degrees after 10 pm and drop into the 30s by Monday morning.
Dry weather is expected for the entire rest of the week, but it will be chilly. High temperatures are in the 50s on Monday until a cold front arrives Monday evening.
A breezy rain shower is expected Monday evening in the lower Hudson Valley and in the upper Hudson Valley a few snowflakes could mix in; however, no accumulation is expected. Temperatures will quickly drop into the 30s Monday night.
Tuesday and Wednesday are colder with high temperatures near 50-degrees Tuesday and only in the 40s on Wednesday despite mainly sunny skies. Frost and freezing temperatures are expected Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
Afterward, mild weather returns with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s for the remainder of the week. No rain is expected.
